Experience:

Lori is an experienced OSHC leader, passionate about embedding a holistic approach to inspiring a life-long love of learning in children. She is focused on creating engaging and inclusive learning environments that foster a strong sense of community. She has extensive experience working in community development, in particular in recreation, mental health and education in Children Service settings.

Executive Manager Children’s Services

Experience:

Over 25 years experience within the Early Childhood sector, including OSHC, Long Day Care, Family Day Care, Local Government and State/Territory Government. Two years experience as an Authorised Officer for the Department of Education NT, Quality Education and Care NT (QECNT). Undertaking the Assessment and Rating of OSHC, Long Day Care, Pre-school and Family Day Care Services. Four years experience as the Executive Manager of Children’s Services at the YMCA NT of the Northern Territory.

Caraline Moody

Quality & Compliance Manager, Children’s Services

Qualifications:

Experience:

With over 15 years’ experience in the Early Childhood sector and with a background in Early Childhood Inclusion in Remote Indigenous communities, Caraline is a highly passionate quality and compliance manager working across all Children Services in the NT to ensure that we are meeting the high standards of quality service that we set at the YMCA. She has many years experience directing and leading teams at multiple early learning centres across the NT, including in remote communities. With this experience, comes a deep understanding of the needs of children, families and educators alike and the unique considerations of communities across the Territory in OSHC.

Experience:

Over 15 years’ experience within the Early Childhood sector including both OSHC and Long Day Care. Tammy is a strong advocate for high quality OSHC Services. Northern Territory representative on the National Outside School Hours Services Alliance (NOSHSA). Over 7 years’ experience working for YMCA NT OSHC NT. Provides support, mentorship, coaching and compliance at Driver Primary School OSHC, Bradshaw Primary School OSHC, Araluen Christian College OSHC and Katherine Vacation Care.

Our highly skilled and qualified OSHC leaders provide mentoring and support to our OSHC educators ensuring everyone has a rich understanding of contemporary OSHC practices.

Our educators are well supported through continued upskilling by our organisational and external industry experts such as Early Childhood NT (ECANT), ECANT Inclusion Support and Quality Education and Care NT (QECNT.)

We engage staff in regular professional and personal development and seminars to ensure they are constantly up to date with industry standards and compliance, and that their wellbeing is fostered and valued.
